A Cadillac Man Arrested For Possession

On Wednesday November 8th around 11:45PM troopers from the Michigan State Police Cadillac Post conducted a traffic stop in Cadillac close by 13th Street.
The driver was a 36-year-old man Jeffery Friess went to reach into his glove box for paperwork, and troopers seen a silver spoon inside.
The driver took out the paperwork trying to hide the spoon beneath the paperwork on his lap.
And when troopers asked Friess about the spoon he didn't answer.
He was asked to put his hands on the steering wheel and a trooper retrieved the spoon.
On the spoon was white residue.
Upon further searching it was found he was in possession of a digital scale, a torch, a container of suspected heroin, syringes, cotton balls, sterile water, and a small plastic bag of suspected methamphetamine.
He was arrested and lodged at the Wexford County Jail.
Arraigned for one count Possession of Methamphetamine, and one count Possession Narcotics less than 25 grams.
His next scheduled court appearance is November 38th.
