H.E.R.O. stands for Home Exterior Remodel Operation. Each year, Patriots’ Pride Windows selects one deserving local veteran through community nominations to receive up to a full exterior home transformation, including new windows, doors, and siding, at no cost.
The Story Behind the Program
The Hometown H.E.R.O. program came from Jud Simpson, a veteran and co-owner of Patriots’ Pride Windows. Having served his country and built a business from the ground up, Jud understands the challenges veterans face when returning home and the difference a safe, well-maintained home can make in a veteran’s daily life and sense of dignity.

How the H.E.R.O. Program Works
The process works in four steps. Community members nominate a local veteran whose service deserves recognition. Patriots’ Pride Windows reviews every nomination personally. The selected veteran’s story is shared with the Chattanooga community through social media, news outlets, and veterans organizations. The full exterior transformation is then documented from start to finish, ending with a live community reveal that gives everyone a chance to celebrate the veteran and the work done on their home.

Every project comes with a signed timeline agreement so clients always know what to expect and when, a practice that reflects the same discipline and accountability that military service demands.
